Leave allowance: As existing in the Commission

Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year

Medical Cover: As existing in the Commission

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitates tender opening process;

Prepares internal memo to invite members of technical committee;

Drafts invitation, notifications, and regret letters;

Formulate tender advert;

Avails processed invoices to accounts department for payment;

Maintain and update all procurement registers;

Conducts market surveys for standard goods; and

Un-sealer’s in the IFMIS system.

 

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Commerce, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management.

Has proven relevant experience in any of the following fields .Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and supplies, Logistics Management and Public Procurement;

Proficiency in Computer applications; and

Meet Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
