The Commercial Team works with the M-Pesa leadership across our 7 OpCos to co-create the product strategy, drive thought leadership, design new products, and features, set commercial priorities with the engineering teams, and lead business development for strategic multi-country partnership opportunities.
We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to help us build and scale the Largest number one Fintech Platform and Digital Ecosystem in Africa with our talented product team.
Over the last 12 months, our product team has built apps across 5 markets and is aiming to launch more to our 47million M-Pesa customers.

As the Digital Product Manager, you are the mini CEO of the Product and will work closely with leadership to implement the product roadmap.
Key Role Responsibilities
As an experienced professional in Digital Product Management you’ll be:
Work autonomously through the product backlog while making sure that features get delivered quickly and efficiently, following the SAFe Agile methodology
Take a significant user need, or pain-point and figuring what the product might be
Collaborate with teams across M-Pesa to align plans, unblock development, and communicate changes with customers
Track and monitoring your features’ performance and functionality after launch to iterate and improve on them
Co-develop launch and go to market plans with local teams to drive uptake and engagement
Drive commercial rationalisation of roadmap, features and utilising partnerships through influencing and negotiation
Coordinate across complex dependencies to go from idea to successful launch
Develop the product roadmap, incorporating research to create a transformative product
Apply if you have:
Bachelor’s degree required, a Master’s degree in a related field preferred
Over 3 years of professional experience in Digital Product development and commercialisation of new and existing products in an agile environment
Demonstrated experience delivering a Digital app and involvement in continuous improvement of the App
Led squads that deal with ambiguity every day from development to user experience design
Demonstrated commercial acumen and research capabilities
Experience negotiating commercial agreements with 3rd parties
Ability to engage and influence C-suite executives
Understanding of financial services/ mobile regulatory environment across Africa
