Overall Purpose: The Field Officer responds to assigned installation, decommission, support tickets and maintenance of customer link tasks.

TASKS DESCRIPTION

Role Summary

The core Responsibilities of the Field Engineer is executing Installation/Decommission/Maintenance/Support activities for BTN by following the recommended procedures and quality guidelines to achieve the target outcomes.

 

Key Measures of Performance

Attend 95% of all assigned tickets within SLA

100% documentation of assigned & completed tickets/sites

Achieve Net Promoter Score of 95% and above for all assigned tickets

Maintain 100% OHS compliance during attendance of All sites assigned

Maintain 100% adherence to non-negotiable standards while in attendance of all tickets assigned.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, IT or equivalent domain.

Practical knowledge of wireless technologies, optical fiber network, troubleshooting & maintenance.

Certification in any industry standards desirable

Health & Safety Training and certification is an added advantage

Work At Height Training is an added advantage

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, designs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
