Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management or relevant qualification from a recognized University.
Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or Chartered Institute of Purchasing Supplies (CIPS).
Must be a licensed practitioner.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Knowledge of e–procurement systems
Knowledge of Public Procurement and Disposal Act.
Knowledge in professional standards.
At least three (3) years’ working experience as a Procurement Officer in a reputable organization.

Job Description The role is responsible for the sourcing function of all the banks departmental needs. This includes planning, supply market research/sourcing, vendor selection, contracting and relationship management for the bank. The job holder is required to have a good understanding of the supply market and is an advisor to the business on the same, the job holder is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, Medical & Non-Medical, and the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the Hospital’s sourcing, tendering, and purchasing activities to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness and value for money in line with the Hospital’s objectives.
