Duties and responsibilities
Stores management
Participating in the opening quotations
Participating in the tender opening and evaluation
Maintaining and updating list of prequalified suppliers
Preparing and sending out quotations/ tenders to bidders
Ensuring safe custody of all procurement records and files
Uploading tender documents on the Company’s website
Retrieving data from files and repositories and prepare reports as directed
Undertaking market surveys to ensure organization obtains value for money
Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, services and works
Providing feedback to stakeholders on relevant supply chain matters/enquiries
Preparing and submitting relevant reports for inclusion in periodic sectional report
Monitoring progress of submitted procurement professional opinion papers to ensure smooth processing
Person Specifications
Diploma in procurement and /or supply chain management from a recognized institution is mandatory.
Valid membership of Kenya Institute of supplies Management ( KISM) is mandatory.
Good knowledge of public procurement and assets disposal Act ( PPDA 2015) and related regulations
At least three (3) years relevant work experience
