Job Description
We are looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER who will be responsible for developing interesting contents centered around improving Jiji as Kenya’s No.1 online marketplace and also engaging our customers on our social media.
Key responsibilities & deliverables:
Researching of relevant topics for different audiences, developing of new content directions
Creating and testing of newsbreak
Analyze the media market and conduct competitive research
Working with trends in media content and finding insights for creative campaigns
Academic Qualifications and Skills:
Critical thinking and strong ability to analyze information; interest in learning trends, find out opinions, work with forums, media and social platforms
Ability to generate creative ideas
Versatility
BSc degree in Marketing, Journalism and Advertising
Job experience in journalism, content creating
Proficiency in different analytical tools
