Responsibilities
Prospecting for clients for the provision of insurance products specifically life insurance and education plans.
Make accurate presentation of products and services to individual clients.
Provide consistent support and service to these clients for the entire duration of their insurance according to their requirements to maintain a strong customer service.
Attend weekly team meetings and regular product and customer service training.
Qualifications
Diploma in any business-related field from a recognized institution
Minimum KCSE grade C-
Minimum Age- 25 and above
No criminal record
Prior experience in selling insurance will be a definite advantage.
Presentation and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Confident, persistent, focused and determined
Highly self-motivated and ambitious
Driving desirable
The incumbent will be responsible for enforcing underwriting controls in the branch including on-barding, certificates, booking of business, documentation, Implementing underwriting guidelines, processes and procedures to ensure quality underwriting and business, ensuring profitability of the branch through quality control and on-boarding, ensuring quality documentation, timely turn around and maintaining excellent customer service and retention support.
The job holder will be responsible for meeting production targets, both new and renewal by generating new and maintaining business from all channels in all the regions.
This position is responsible for meeting healthcare business corporate production target, both new and renewal by generating business directly and from intermediaries and supporting the section with the required documentation
JOB PURPOSE Ensuring overall Branch Management, Staff Management, Business Growth and Development and Operational Excellence. This role also develops and implements business strategies to deliver performance and growth targets as well as maintain good business environment.
