Key responsibilities
The overall objective of the role is to bring strong sector and /or business- process specific knowledge to bear for Data and Analytics strategy, transformation and solution design engagements. The consultant will focus on helping clients understand the broader D&A journey and implications, and helping engagement teams understand domain context required for delivering meaningful and effective insights from D&A solutions.
Qualifications and experience
Experience and expertise at gathering client and market information through interviews, surveys, workshops, and market research, and at presenting that information effectively at an executive level.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields
Responsibilities
Assess, capture, and translate complex business needs and existing organization D&A maturity levels into a structured strategy for D&A capability development, including role and process design, analytics use case ideation, and technology road mapping;
Utilize a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to design and review with clients all aspects of an organization-specific D&A target operating model;
Research and communicate sector- or processspecific data and D&A solution design requirements, including building such design requirements into targeted visualizations;
Support project leaders in tracking and communicating project risks, budget, rates, and launch/close-out activities, including the administration of work papers and collaboration sites (shared with D&A Modelers and D&A Engineers) and;
Proactively broaden and deepen client relationships by working with varying levels of client team members (shared with D&A Modelers and Data Engineers)

The ideal candidate must have;
Organization design, transformation design/ execution expertise, and workstream management skills
Strong business consulting acumen
An understanding of general landscape for data science and big data opportunities; deeper understanding of sector- and/or process-specific landscape for opportunities
An understanding of requirements, styles, and preferences for visualizations within their sectors of expertise.
Fast learning and analytical thinking skills
Experience working in a complex, fast moving environment.
The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
