Our client in Real Estate is looking for a Property Manager.

The right candidate has experience managing both commercial and residential property in Nairobi ranging from middle income to high end.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure rental occupancy and collection targets are met

Manage the leasing process to ensure proper documentation

Coordinate marketing activities and conduct market research

Ensure county government and other government body requirements are met

Coordinate with the finance department to ensure proper management of collections

Investigate and ensure tenant complaints are resolved

Hire, train and supervise departmental staff

Identify vendors and manage vendor contracts

Ensure timely, cost effective and quality maintenance and repairs

Oversee landscaping, maintenance, security

Oversee the provision of security of the premises and properties

Person’s Specifications

A strong understanding of property/real estate market, its dynamics, and requirements

Must have a good understanding of property management processes and documentation

A relevant bachelor’s degree

At least 5 years’ experience in property management

Experience managing both commercial and residential property

Very strong communication skills

Strong negotiation skills

Working knowledge of premium customer service

Excellent planning and organizing skills

Must demonstrate attention to detail

Working knowledge of facilities management

Strong administration skills

Very good people management skills
