About the job

The Digital Marketing Intern will report to the Marketing Officer and will assist with the development and design of core graphics, logos, event materials, and a variety of other creative tasks as assigned.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling

Prepare images to coincide with social and blog posts

Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar

Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes

Assist with website and blog updates via WordPress

Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.

Design and layout of presentations, and marketing material.

Work with the Marketing team to visualize advertising campaigns.

Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)

Help distribute marketing materials

Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

Help organize marketing events

Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

Equivalent experience in Marketing

desire to learn along with professional drive

Solid understanding of different marketing techniques

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords)

Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
